Blag a million

Well, the Blag a Million project is officially under way and this Monday they blagged all my profit from the afternoon's trading session. Here is the video:

My progress has continued at the same rate as it did throughout May. The days are sunny, and sitting inside is a bit of a pain! I've been making the most of the sun when I can get some; a bit of sunbathing on the roof is quite fun and relaxing. My brithday's coming up, I'll be 24 and I'm heading down to Windsor racecourse for the day to gamble my money away with a group of friends. I'll try and get in the background shots of any filming like those goons you usually see who pretend to be minding their own business but are clearly trying to edge in on TV!, so if you're trading watch out for me!

I thought you would like this. It sounds like it applies to you.
Gonzales has provided a concise formula for trading success: boldness and humility. The exemplary trader has the boldness to act with conviction, and the humility to realize that what is apparent may not be all that is there.
This site has a huge number of free articles on the psychology of trading.

Hello Adam,
Been reading your blog on and off for some time and find it interesting and informative. However it's just as interesting looking at your reading material. It's easy to see that you are on a quest and perhaps seeking to understand your true role. Most people your age look outside and try to find something that fits, but it gets uncomfortable after a while and they try something else. Only looking within do you find the truth and it has nothing to do with career ladders. It's all going to eventually lead to your spiritual self. It is all so simple.
I am just someone new to trading who saw the video this morning and thought you seemed a very nice person.

It's a good little vid that like, just a quick question Adam, do you use the new "trading profit" function of the newest betangel software?

What exactly is this blog about, I have read through it all and it is very interesting and you are exceptional at what you do, however are you just showing off, the reason I say this is that you offer little help or information to would be traders on what you actually do, you just say things like was a good day today made x amount, ok day today made x amount and so on. So it's a show off blog from what I have read. Similar to someone starting a blog and saying each day look what I made on affiliate sales today, or look at the profit I made from selling on ebay today, without actually ever explaining as to how they do it, what things to try etc

Not having a go or anything but you are obviously very skilled, the blog has no future life if it's just about showing profits each day etc, can you not put your skills to good use, create a school of trading website or something where you actually work with people on helping them trade etc

Hey Adam,

Well, I just spent the last few hours reading through ALL your post since the beginning. I consider that an achievement already. LOL.

Found your blog through Betangel. Found Betangel when I searched for other sources of online income aside from trading the futures markets which I have done in the last couple of years. Not outstandingly I may say but good enough. lol.

I must say things are looking pretty good in these "markets". I might just be packing up and moving to horse race trading from now on. Your accomplishments since the beginning really impressed me A LOT. You are a good example of what "can" be done in this business. I'll keep on following your blog as I start trading here myself also. I'll let you know if I get anywhere near your profits. Needless to say, you did inspire me to try this out. Thanks so much, even for just the inspiration.

I wish you good luck in your challenge. I'm sure it's a done deal already.

Hi Adam,

Congratulations on your success.

I have a question: which Betangel connection mode do you use? After some API crashes last summer I started to use mode 1 and it has been fine. Do you have a preference for a particular mode?

Thanks,

Ste.

Hi Adam what is the average amount you stake per trade? and do you usually aim to scalp just one tick at a time or do you go for longer term moves? (-sorry if this has been answered before)

£1504.45 so far and most of that from you :D Nice video though, would be very surprised if they reach even a 1/4 of there goal, espeically how everything is, people trying to save there pennies not throw them away.

Hi Adam

You mentioned before that you do not use moving average crosovers or bollinger bands.

In that case, what do you use in the betangel charting to decide on an entry point?

Thanks

Adam, please stop trading and being excellent at what you do and concentrate on a free "How to Trade" website that teaches those that cannot be bothered to learn. Why not go one step further and setup a live training centre where fellow traders can meet?

I will only attend if you offer free lunch and drinks throughout the day...oh and pay my BFH.............

With regard to the Elliot Short made £20m link, read this - http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2009/jun/30/greg-wood-betfair-notw-story It always pays to check your facts, especially so for a journalist...

Hi Steve, it should work with your basic adobe flash player.

Hi Ian, thanks for the links - looks interesting.

Thanks Anonymous1.

Hi Anonymous2, I don't use it - I find it a distraction.

Hi Anonymous3, fair comment. I think some people are always going to look at it from that way, especially considering any blog that follows progress of someone making a lot of money.

Hi Ste, it depends what I'm doing. But it's usually 1, then 0 or 13.

Hi Anonymous8, I use the Betfair charts.
